The fourth CSO30 ASEAN Awards programme recognises the top 30 cybersecurity leaders driving business value, demonstrating leadership, and influencing rapid change across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.
In addition to individual recognition, the programme includes: Business Value and Leadership awards.
The CSO30 ASEAN Awards programme is aligned to Foundry’s global awards and celebrates the leading individuals and organisations delivering cybersecurity initiatives that demonstrate outstanding business value and leadership.
Nominees were judged based on cybersecurity initiatives introduced over the past two years that have changed the way the business is protected. They were also evaluated based on how they collaborated with and influenced their stakeholders to improve cybersecurity and resilience within the enterprise. Judges also assessed their contribution to the wider cybersecurity community beyond their organisations.
Nominations this year were received from Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The winners hold country, regional, and global roles within their respective organisations. Some are also responsible for security portfolios across the group.
In association with FPT, Blue Yonder, Digital Realty, Console Connect, IBM, SAS, AMD, SS&C Blue Prism, enreap, F5, TeamViewer, Flexera, and Expereo, winners were unveiled during an in-person awards ceremony at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, with more than 400 executives from across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.
In addition to the awards, 10 members of the inaugural CSO Security Council were also formally inducted. In association with the CSO Hall of Fame, the council is an invitation-only community programme for security leaders. Its members are thought leaders in security and risk, driving change and providing guidance through their expertise, vision, and credibility.
